Artist's Comments
This is a drawing (or draft) of what I will be painting for my friend and boss Andria who owns her own shop and clothing line. The types of clothing and accessories this girl is wearing is the kind of things we make and sell at the shop. The painting I will be doing (in reference to this drawing) will be put in their front window and photos of it will be posted all of Burlington and Hamilton to Promote her store.
As you can see, this girl also has a parasol jutting out through her like another one of my drawings. The reason for the likeness is because Andria liked that drawing so much she wanted her promo sign to have something very much like it incorperated. So, I did it all over again. heheh. Yeah... I didn't use any references other than that drawing. Although.. the face and hairstyle does remind me a bit of my friend Morgan (she's the furthest away from me in the picture "A Day at the Dyke March".) Anyways.. Enjoy.
